Hi, I’m Justin Alexander

In the United Kingdom, born and raised. Designing websites is what I do most of my days.

I began developing websites due to my passion for games. My brother introduced me to the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario . This gaming interest led me to gaming fan-sites – which in turn invoked a desire to develop a websites of my own, leading me to learn about web development independently.

Alongside Art and Dance, I.T. has always had a special place in my heart, so I decided to study Software Development at College, focussing on programming concepts and web development. After College, my curiosity of the games world led me to study Computer Games Programming at the University of Derby, where I developed programming skills in C++, C#, Java, ActionScript (and plenty more) graduating with 1st Class Honors.

I also worked as a Gameplay Programmer at an independent games studio – We Are Colin; developing games for Xbox Live and the iPhone, using and further developing my game programming and design ability. This role also included creating and maintaining the company’s website, in addition to micro sites for the games produced.

After University, my love for both games and web design is as strong as ever and I hope to express my creativity in both mediums, one game and website at a time…

I am currently working happily at Green Dog Media as a Digital Designer.
